Parmi les participants à « L’ÉCHELLE DU VENT », on trouve :

September 1 - 16 (during the Frelighsburg Festiv'Art weekend), and by appointment

Frelighsburg, Quebec (August 27, 2007) -- Given the ongoing wind-farm controversy in the Eastern Townships, Galerie Design owner Eden Muir has asked local architects and designers to consider the resulting visual environment.

Muir said, "It's hard to imagine these vast clusters of giant towers." Using a variety of media including freehand drawing, posters, computer animation, photography, CAD drawings and scale models, the designers help to visualize these giants in the landscape.

Sorge presents large charcoal sketches, examining scale from the point of view of nature. Under her theme, Sorge delves into the poetic aspects of scale in nature and man's unending and ever-increasing needs.

Muir compares the exhibition to a traditional design "charrette" or last-moment architectural presentation, in its urgency and informality. "We will only see the statements and images when the results are snapped to the gallery's magnetic walls and the spotlights are turned on."

The SCALE OF THE WIND participants include:

BERNICE SORGE, painter / printmaker
CINDY DIANE RHEAULT, photographer
ROBERT GALBRAITH, photographer
JULIEN GEOFFROY, architect
